A licensed security officer, in full uniform, will arrive at your facility in a clearly marked vehicle.

The officer will patrol the external area of all buildings, looking for signs of attempted forced entry and any windows/doors that have not been secured correctly.

If the officer finds a window or door insecure with no signs of attempted forced entry, they will return to the patrol vehicle and access your site keys. Your keys are always kept within our SIA Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) approved mobile safe, unless they need to be used. The officer will then enter the building in question and close the window or door securely.

If the security officer finds an open window or door with signs of forced entry, they will remain in view of this area and call for police response. Once the police have been mobilised, our control room duty manager will call for one of your emergency key holders to attend site, this is to catalogue any stolen items with the police officers.

If an emergency key holder has to attend site, their safety is our main priority and we will not vacate site until they leave. Our duty control officer can arrange for boarding up or making secure any forced entry points on your premises.

A full written report will be emailed to your chosen contact the next working day, so you are fully aware of any actions that have been taken. If no signs of forced entry are found on the patrol, the security officer will log their times on and off your site and continue with other duties.
